A Blue Queen, A Fancy Hat, and a FB Page

The latest Maiden, number 125!

In other news, finally, it’s The Slumbering Herd Facebook page! I’ve only been saying I would do it for ages. It is started.

But know this, friends, visitors, aliens, imaginary creatures large and small:  I shall never, after this moment, type the words “please like my Facebook page”. I like things I like. You like things you like. The whole likes thing is rather confounding.

I’m not sure what to do with the page just yet, but I’ve put up a bunch of art card albums, including dogs, cats, tiny cities, tiny houses and imaginary critters. Can I just say – holy crap. I have inked a LOT of little art cards.

Here’s another fancy maiden – fancy hat mostly! – that I did last week.

Progress pics for both below. Thanks for stopping in. ;)

Great news! I eluded FB for quite a while but then never regretted signing up when I eventually did. Because I got some great friends there and because it’s so easy to have another way to keep in touch. It can be a bit, tiny really ;) time sucker but you can probably handle that just fine :D
And I’m with you about “please like my page” thing. We like what we like and period.

The maidens are pretty, especially the first one with all the those patterns around. You sure are a master of patterns on such a small scale.

Wow!! These two are just gorgeous! You have such a fun and detailed cool style. Can’t wait to see all of the maidens together. Congrats on your Facebook page! I’ve resisted joining for years and now probably never will. I already have too much social media to keep track of, lol. Hope yours works out well and brings you lots of new art fans :)

Wooo! Thank you. I’m trying to figure it out, because I had to do a personal page to go with the “business” page, and only the personal page can like other pages. So I get confused between one and the other. One day I will be less a noob.

I’m loving Frederica! She looks quite benevolent & charming. The first one looks a bit cranky and sullen…maybe she’s cold…………. :)
Welcome to FB! I don’t know what it is, but try as I might, I can’t seem to get new subscribers to my blog, & get very few comments vs the quantity of page views. However I have a HUGE presence on FB, with LOTS of participation! So you can imagine where my energies are focused. :)
    PS – LOVE the Copics!

ps: Love all your snow queens….Hjordis looks so cold!

I like the red one best, but maybe that’s because I’m more partial to red than blue. I think you’ll have fun with your facebook page. Unfortunately it can turn into another “time suck”. LOL I have one but don’t do much with it right now.

Ms Fancy hat is fantastic – the highlights on her face are really striking and pleasing. Since I’ not on FB anymore, I’ll just tell you here: I like! :-)
