Snow Beasts Winter Art Cards

Llama in Santa Gear; Cat in Blue Parka
Each 2.5″ x 3.5″ Copics, fine liners, white gel pen

Ever since Helen discovered she could sew, she’d taken a keen interest in dressing her llama, Reynaldo. He took it stoically.

Camilla the cat’s human was less a seamstress and more a shopper. Fortunately, Camilla only needed to don the crazy suits for photos, and then she was freed.

Two Snow Dogs in Hats

Snow dogs! Hats! I am particularly fond of the hat on the left, though Henry looks terribly sad. He is not sad – though he will play up this look for extra snacks. His Uncle Theodore is more a scarf guy. Well, scarves and also snacks.

And here’s some winter cards from last year-

Oh….these are just wonderful. I love all of them…..the colors, so festive, and the soft snow falling.
Dare I ask……should you do a Christmas Picture book??

(Yes, you should do a Christmas picture book.)

Also, OMG! These are SO GREAT! The llama and the snowlady with the heart mouth are my super favorites, but they are all incredibly good!

Yes! A Christmas picture book! Yes! Henry’s hat is indeed fabulous and that snowman in the middle from last year looks like he has a story to tell… love ’em all!

The snow dog’s hats really do give the dogs their personalities and can’t imagine them wearing anything else. Love the markings on the cat’s face too. Seasons greetings from the UK and look forward to seeing a lot more of your fabulous art next year!

    Llama for the win! :)

I really like how the snow makes everything look so festive and happy. May I ask which white pen/thing do you use? The ones I buy either suck big time or are terribly erasable (like white gel pen).

Happy and worry-free Holidays to you too! And all the best in 2014!

      Thank you!
The thicker white, and one I’ve used longest, is the Signo Uniball white gel pen. I think it’s a medium point. And it does clog, arrrgh!

The thinner one is a gellyroll 08 white. Both have their uses. Neither is perfect, at least the way I use them. I am always rolling the tips on scrap paper to unclog them.
