Fancy Dress Dogs and Cats, the First Eight

So, quite a long time ago (it seems!) I started the Art Card Dogs project. Holy cow I just checked and I haven’t added to it for over a year. Maybe this summer I can finally get it together and make a poster/bath sheet/bedspread/shower curtain/car seats (or who knows!) out of some of these art card collections. Unfortunately, summertime is busy time at my job (construction industry), but as my life keep reminding me, I am not getting younger!

I love the Princess of Whispers, although I do think she may say “off with his head”! Your imagination is so prolific and no two fancy clothes are even remotely the same. Awesome.
They look SO INCREDIBLE all together! I can’t stop picturing a shower curtain full of fancy dress animals now. How freaking cool would that be?! The colors interact so beautifully from card to card.
The Princess of Whispers is another show stopper, by the way. And after I drink her in repeatedly, I AGAIN marvel at the background. Dang, girl.

Terrific series! I know I’m just repeating myself but you keep outdoing yourself and it’s so wonderful to be a witness to it. The things you mentioned all sound great and you know what? Having your high street animals live on dinnerware would be totally awesome! Because they were born to be around porcelain, don’t you agree? :)

DEFINITELY can’t get enough of the fancy dress series! These totally kick butt, which I’m sure they would do even though they are in their finest silks and accessories. The chihuahua, I think, is my favorite. Superb, all of them!

Thank you! Most of these fine folks are from one online community or another (Illustration Friday, Paint Party Friday, illustratedatcs.com). If you are willing to spend your time participating by doing a lot of visiting yourself, you can have more visitors, too. Some are here quite often, and others less so. Sometimes life makes it hard to find the time, I know!
While I’m not a fan of real animals in outfits, I am a HUGE FAN of your dogs and cats in their regal clothing. This may be a favorite series of mine. Great, creative work.
