Art Production for a Holiday Weekend

No progress pics today because I was out of town without my scanner. BUT, I did tons of new art cards, such as three more gnome dwellings to go with the first:

Three Gnome Dwellings
Each 2.5″ x 3.5″ Copics, fine liners, white gel pen

Lilah’s Lil’ Shroom, Delilah’s Abode and Graham’s Fancy Tree (with a red foxcat). Before that came the sea creatures:

Three From the Sea
Each 2.5″ x 3.5″ Copics, fine liners, white gel pen

The Mistress of Eels,  Nessie (with Gar), and the partly finished Cthedrick (younger brother of Cthulu). Cthedrick tends toward oddness rather than malevolence and therefore the family keeps him out of the spotlight, mostly out of embarrassment (theirs).

And one more! Gaston Culpepper, Lord of the Treetops.

Gaston Culpepper
2.5″ x 3.5″ Copics, fine liners, white gel pen

Thanks for dropping in! More progress pics next time.

These are fantastic! I LOVE the Gnome Homes……including the tiny details like trash cans, beehives, and bonsai plant (?). They are so fun!! And sea creatures are just great. I can see them in a series in a nursery or kid’s room. Keep em coming! :-)

I want to live in the blue-roof gnome house! But then the ladder-to-porch on the next is a place to watch a sunset… and the next one has a bee-hive! OH how to choose! Good thing I am not a gnome;-) Your attention to detail (and fun) is incredible!

I like these little dwellings you create. I do need to remember to show my Granddaughter your blog, here. She loves to create and I think your work would inspire her to reach for the stars. On first viewing, I sometimes miss all your interesting little details. Love the cat in the tree; which I didn’t see right off. It is like art that keeps on giving!

Love the little sea creatures. I like the colors of the little houses too. So soft and relaxing.
