Hooray, still at it! Though as you will see, one day produced only a background. But a background painted in acrylics! (The whole of which got painted over the next two days – a llama with a completely different background.)
I actually spent two days on two different paintings this time. I would not call any of these finished! Don’t know if I will ever finish them, and it doesn’t really bug me! It’s all practice.
I have learned a few things in this first 11 days. Mainly this. A thing I already knew: paintings look TERRIBLE for the first 85% of the progress. One must keep on. :)
Such fabulous work! You are so talented! Love all the animals!

Firstly, I love your backgrounds. The blend of colours is perfect, but then you add such great animal paintings over them that takes it to another level. Brilliant acrylic artwork Cindy. Happy PPF to you :D
Cindy, you are awesome! I so love this set you’re making this month, especially that Llama! And the hairy dog is soooo good! I’m looking forward to seeing the rest of your paintings this month :)
These are wonderful and I really appreciate the step by step. Love the realism on the afghan hound’s hair. Happy PPF
OMG You have such a wonderful talent. I love your art.
Oh, these are wonderful! Love that llama particularly!
I LOVE the softness of your backgrounds! And I love what you’re painting on top. You sure started your year off with a bang :-) So many paintings already. I actually really like the last two that you did last week, I hope you didn’t paint over them. They looked quirky and unique. It’s lovely to see you back in action!
Lovely paintings, keep it up and can’t wait to see your progress next week!
Beautiful animal portraits full of character and feeling! Love them.
I love seeing things in progress. Keep at it!
Your artwork is inspiring…but not only that, it fills my eyes, which is the greatest compliment I can give…your artwork catches the essence of your subjects. It is a wonderful, magical gift which is truly rare.
