Day 29 of the 30 Day Challenge. It’s crazy!
Her poor neck is a bit off, and many other refinements are also needed, but it is midnight again and I have a day job. Alas!
I hope some of you folks will post a month-long retrospective tomorrow! I’m going to try to do that. Also, I hope to see some of you at the 29 Faces Challenge.
Thanks for stopping in!

the painting looks great! don’t worry about the neck, exact proportions are not necessary with this style of painting. makes it look a little more quirky. I just finished my last painting for the challenge, it’s a dog too!
Oh my gosh – such wonderful, fun paintings! I can’t stop looking!
I discovered this artist several years ago and think you may be inspired by her work. I hope you don’t mind my suggesting it. http://schiphill.wordpress.com/
thanks for tapping me on the shoulder!
Wow, she’s great! Thank you for the suggestion!
I am always amazed at those last few steps you paint – your paintings come to real life at that time! Your collages show such color, creativity and imagination! Well done!
Thank you so much for saying so! I have learned that the middle stages never look very good, but if I push on through I can usually arrive at a much nicer place. :)
Oh, but the twist of the neck says so much, Cindy. I love the expression and this sweet face!
