Elsbeth the Red is not only Face #5, she is also Maiden Number 153!
I think I need to look into layering with acrylics. It will require patience! Usually I’m very eager to paint through the early stages when the thing looks terrible! They always do. You have to keep going. :)

Fabulous shading on the face. And dangly earrings tying in with the very changed crown, love it!
A new month, a new challenge! Great!
Thank you, Cindy.
Wonderful colorful faces! ManonX
Ooo I love her. I love all of the metamorphoses of the crown! Layering really is the key, I think. luckily the paints dry fast.
Another great painting!
I really like her. And I like how you show the progress. Good job.
you’ve done a lot of maidens! she looks a little more tough skinned than the last few gals you’ve done.
Wow!! That’s a lot of maidens!! Congrats!
I love the jewelry on the top of her head, very classic looking. Your art is lovely and you’re so fast too! Most of my faces are sketches…
I love the lotus flower shaped crown ♥
153 maidens!! I wish I could be half as productive.
Look at you dazzling everyone with your productivity! :D
She is a kickass maiden for sure. I love the way that even her attitude is transformed from the sketch to the painting (it’s in that upper lip). Her hair rocks, and that new crown is killer!
Love those big eyes! I find that using glazing liquid makes the blending and layering with acrylics much easier.
She is wonderful – such style and pizazz!
I love her funky hairstyle! She is one cool maiden! :)
I know just what you mean about getting through those early parts! This is wonderful. Your bold use of colors is amazing. I love it!
She’s beautiful, Cindy! I love the lime green and the eyeshadow!
