Day five of the 30 Day Challenge! So, I think I may alternate ink and acrylic days. Mostly I just don’t think I could do 25 acrylic paintings in the next 25 days! (Particularly with full work weeks ahead.)
Here is the finished elf maiden from yesterday. She is Maiden Number 138 of 200. Her name is Maire and she is a veteran of the Blue Goblin War. Some of her jewels are military honors.
And this fellow may show up finished tomorrow. Or might not! The only thing I am sure of is that the background will not be green.
Thanks for stopping in!

Your elf maiden is great as is your pup. You always do such interesting work.
She’s gorgeous, Cindy. I really love those ears with the cool decorations. Looking forward to seeing how the cute dog turns out. He’s already looking awesome! Maybe a nice blue for the background? I always like that colour with orange :)
This elf is mesmerizing. MESMERIZING. I would totally follow her into battle. Or anywhere. Around the block 17 times? Let’s do this.
I am digging the pup! I agree the background should not be green. I have been having a lot of moments like that during this challenge, as in, “Wow, okay, ANYTHING but that!”
Hi Cindy, I love your Elf Maiden and the pup. I have to say I love green and apparently may be the only one that does. I have made a few paintings with green and they never really go anywhere (sell) so maybe green isn’t the best (hard for people to envision green in their homes, I think) but I do like the green. I love all the background stories to your wonderful little world of creatures here on your site! Can you believe it is Day 6 already? They are flying by and nothing is getting done at my house. LOL.. have a good one. -Jaime Haney
Wow, 25 paintings in 25 days, I admire you!
Great stuff Cindy…I’m glad you’re using acrylics as well…Happy New Year!!
Love the blue maiden and that her medals can be earrings. I think I like the graded greens behind the dog, even if you didn’t.
